Morty's Brined Deep Fried Chicken Legs 🍗 🍗🍗

Who Loves Fried Chicken? My WHOLE family does, so we got the goods on the cookin!
Morty cooks these up in 12 minutes in the deep fryer, but you can also fry them up in a frying pan too, I personally like to use my cast iron skillet. Takes a few minutes longer, but it's worth the wait.
Ingredients
8-12 Chicken Legs ( Can use other parts of the chicken too)
3/4 - 1 cup cold milk
1 egg
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt
All purpose flour
Vegetable oil
Directions
First, Brine the Chicken anywhere from 4 hours to 24 hours
Use a Big Bowl or Pot, pour in about 1/2 cup salt and fill with Cold water, add Chicken and let sit however long you wish. Morty brined these babies for 4 hours. If you brine for more than 4 hours put it in the refrigerator.
In another bowl...add about 2 cups all purpose flour, add salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste
In another bowl, put about a cup of milk and a beaten egg
Now lets get ready to FRY
Heat your oil up until you can throw a dash of flour in and it sizzles...if it starts to fry, you are in business!
Ok...grab a leg, dip it in the milk and Egg Mixture, then roll it around in the flour mixture, tap off the excess, and drop it VERY CAREFULLY in the HOT OIL...Let them fry for 12 minutes in the deep fryer...If you are frying it in a skillet, let it fry for about 6 minutes until it turns a golden brown, flip it over, and then repeat on all sides. Just be mindful of the minutes, keep your eye on it. Drain on paper towels and ENJOY!!!
